Piero Landolfi has departed Tesla after serving for nearly nine years with the automaker, most recently as director of service for North America, according to a LinkedIn post.
Landolfi this month joined Nimble, a robotic third-party logistics and fulfillment services company, as SVP of operations, per his LinkedIn profile.
He said said it was a difficult decision to leave Tesla.
“It was hard because of the incredibly talented and passionate people that I had the privilege to work, sweat and laugh with as we were accelerating the world to sustainable energy, against all odds and in spite of what used to be the general beliefs about electric cars,” Landolfi wrote on LinkedIn. “It was hard because of the amazing products we build, the first principle thinking and the getting stuff done mentality that makes Tesla such an exciting place to work at.”
Landolfi joined Tesla in October 2016 as director of service, technical operations. He served in the role until he was named director of service for North America in August 2020.
