Piston Automotive announced Jana Rosenmann as its new president last week.
Rosenmann joins the Southfield, Michigan-based automotive supplier from ZF Group. She succeeds Bob Holloway, who was promoted to Piston Group’s chief operating officer in December, according to a news release.
Rosenmann will report to Holloway and Vinnie Johnson, the company’s founder and chairman.
Piston Automotive, a subsidiary of Piston Group, designs, engineers, assembles and manufactures a variety of automotive parts and systems. Piston Group reported $3.2 billion in revenues last year, and employs nearly 10,000 people at more than 20 locations across North America.

"Her global experience in leading multicultural commercial, operations, strategy, and marketing teams, with a track record of pivoting businesses into new areas will significantly enhance our leadership team's core competencies, reinforce our growth strategy, and strengthen our market performance and competitiveness."
In her prior role at ZF Group, Rosenmann led the company’s Electronics & Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Division. Her responsibilities included growing and transforming the business, providing organizational leadership to develop and articulate strategy, implementing business plans and managing operations.
Rosenmann also worked at Airbus for more than 20 years, where she grew the unmanned aerial systems business as well as helped drive strategy and transformation in the defense sector, the release said.
